Terms & conditions

  1. Introduction
  • These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of chauffeur services by Claremont Executive Chauffeur Services Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) and define the relationship between the Company and its customers. By making a booking, the customer agrees to abide by these terms.
  1. Booking & Service Provision
  • The contract for all chauffeur service bookings is between the customer (individual or business making the booking and paying for the service) and the Company.
  • The Company reserves the right to accept or decline bookings at its discretion.
  • All hire charges commence and conclude at Hyde Park Corner. Additional travel time to and from the pickup location may be charged accordingly.
  • Airport bookings include a waiting time allowance of 60 minutes from the flight’s landing time. Waiting beyond this period is chargeable per 15-minute increments.
  • Non-airport bookings allow for a 15-minute grace period before waiting time charges apply.
  1. Cancellation Policy
  • Airport and short-duration bookings cancelled within 6 hours of the pickup time incur a charge equivalent to two hours at the applicable hourly rate plus VAT.
  • Full-day bookings (8+ hours) cancelled within 24 hours are fully chargeable.
  • Non-airport bookings cancelled within 12 hours are subject to a full cancellation charge; cancellations between 12-24 hours incur a 50% charge.
  • Special vehicles, including Rolls Royce Bentley models and Range Rover Models require a 48-hour notice period. Cancellations within this period incur a full charge with a minimum of four hours.
  1. Rates & Payment
  • All rates are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices are subject to revision with prior notification for account holders.
  • Account holders must settle invoices within 30 days from the date of issue.
  • Payments are accepted via major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express or by secure payment link.
  • Any additional costs, including parking fees, will be charged at cost.

 

  1. Holiday Periods Charges
  • A 100% surcharge applies to services on Christmas Day and between 17:00 – 06:00 on New Year’s Eve.
  • A 50% surcharge applies to services between 17:00 – 00:00 on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.
  1. Customer Responsibilities
  • Customers must ensure accurate booking details and allow sufficient time for their journeys.
  • Customers are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle’s interior or exterior and will be charged accordingly.
  • The Company reserves the right to refuse carriage to any customer who appears under the influence of alcohol or drugs or poses a risk to the chauffeur or vehicle.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles. Additional charges will apply if in violation.
  1. Luggage & Lost Property
  • Customers are responsible for selecting an appropriate vehicle based on the quantity and size of their luggage. If the luggage does not fit in the booked vehicle, the full booking fee remains applicable. In cases where an additional vehicle is required, the customer will be responsible for covering the full cost of the second vehicle.
  • Customers are responsible for their luggage. The Company is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings.
  • Any lost property found in vehicles will be stored and returned when possible.
  1. Chauffeur & Vehicle Substitution
  • The Company reserves the right to change the allocated vehicle or chauffeur if necessary.
  • Should subcontractors be used, the same service standards apply.
  1. Force Majeure
  • The Company is not liable for service delays or cancellations due to events beyond its control, including extreme weather, strikes, road conditions, or accidents.
  1. Insurance & Liability
  • All Company vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third-party claims.
  • The Company is not liable for direct or indirect losses arising from delays or journey disruptions.
  • The customer is solely responsible for obtaining adequate insurance coverage for any goods or items transported by the company.
  1. Data Protection
  • Customer data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law.
  1. Governing Law
  • These terms are governed by the laws of England, and any disputes shall be resolved within English legal jurisdiction.
